Wildflower Mosaics

I have been creating mosaic art for over 13 years and was first inspired by trips to Europe.  Part of the allure of mosaic art for me is the endless possibilities of materials, color and form as well as breathing new life into things often overlooked.  I often include recycled materials as tesserae and for the base of which I glue the tesserae.  Exploring different techniques and styles, my work is eclectic and fun.  I also like to create the bases in which I work on by sculpting a base with different materials that will eventually be covered with mosaic.
